Coldshield products are design to provide highly effective barriers to temperature and air movement. We have conducted testing to prove the benefits of installing Flexible barriers to your chillers and freezers. The results are detailed in the graphs below.

The School of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry University of New South Wales found flexible PVC strip curtains to be 93% efficient as a barrier to air movement transfers.

Retail Air conditioning

Openings dividing airconditioned Retail areas from open stock rooms are areas of increasing importance with respect to energy losses. Our commitment to lower your energy usage has led us to conduct actual tests of the electricity consumption required to maintain a temperature difference of 12°C.

A massive 24% saving in electricity consumption was achieved when comparing our fully sealed Series 4500 Thermal Traffic Doors to the Series 2400 Flexible PVC Swing Doors.
