Coldshield was approached by Woolworths Meadowbrook to upgrade their shop’s access points for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Woolworths required a comprehensive solution to improve their loading dock operations and facilitate seamless access for their Direct to Boot online customers. Coldshield’s expertise in high speed doors made them the ideal partner for this project, ensuring the installation of reliable, energy-efficient doors tailored to Woolworth’s specific requirements.
High speed efficiency
Coldshield equipped Woolworths Meadowbrook with a new HS35 rapid door, in a previously open section of the loading dock area. The rapid door provided a barrier between the loading dock and the coldrooms and freezers, which increased energy efficiency while ensuring fast and reliable operation.
In a newly renovated section of the store catering to Direct to Boot customers, Coldshield also installed two EX35 rapid doors. These high speed doors served as an upgrade to the existing 4500 Series traffic doors that were previously installed by Coldshield approximately 10 years prior. The EX35 doors were chosen for their superior speed and safety, providing quicker and more convenient access for online customers receiving their orders. All rapid doors were equipped with UPS backup battery power, ensuring uninterrupted operation during power outages.
